Oracle Database Administrator

The purpose of this job is to provide all aspects of database administration, provide technical guidance and support to junior (L1) database administrators (when applicable), and vulnerability remediation would be the primary task. The role will also handle escalated incidents and perform root cause analysis of any problems that may arise out of IRs and/or proactive needs for business.

Responsibilities

• The main responsibilities include vulnerability remediation which would be the primary task
• Should work on configuration, implementation, support of Oracle Database Production servers and technical guidance of junior team members
• Understand business requirements and design solutions accordingly
• Ensure quality standards in release implementation especially in DML/DCL/DDL & Data Fixes of any form
• Resolve incidents, elevate to management and Oracle Vendor as necessary
