Job Description
Lead daily operations at Canlan Sports' Ice Arena as an Operations Supervisor. Ensure safety, ice quality, and staff training while maintaining a high-quality participant experience.
As an Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the safe and efficient functioning of the facility, reporting directly to the Operations Manager or General Manager. This hands-on role requires strong technical knowledge of ice operations, supervising maintenance tasks, and leading facility staff. You will play a vital role in enhancing the overall experience for participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance tasks per local building codes
• Supervise ice maintenance, including Engo and edger operation
• Maintain facility fixtures, including minor electrical repairs
• Develop proficiency in Ameresco Asset Planner
• Monitor ice plant operations for safety
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Refrigeration Operator certificate
