Roles & Responsibilities:Department Goals Deployment (i.e. Hoshin Kanri (HK) X3/X4) aligned to Site Overall Goals & Objectives (X2), measure department metrics (KPIs) to monitor performance and coordinates actions to ensure improvements.Review production plan and coordinate manufacturing resources to ensure timely delivery of products while be sure to comply with Quality System requirements.Interacts and collaborates with other departments to solve any restriction that may stop or slow down production, including material, personnel, equipment, and process issues.Responsible for department budget planning (HC, Suppliers, equipment purchases) and expense management to meet or exceed financial targets.Identify and coordinate cost reduction projects including labor productivity, material usage, defect reduction, space and inventory optimization using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.Foster implementation of preventive and corrective actions that may result from production non-conf...
