Job Description
Make a difference for animals by joining the Ontario SPCA as an Animal Care Customer Representative. This engaging role focuses on customer support and facilitating adoptions.
As a key member of the Ontario SPCA team, you will provide support to the public, including handling inquiries related to adoptions and foster support. With a focus on compassion, you will ensure families are informed about animal needs and promote an understanding of adoption processes within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess visitors' needs and provide essential information
• Counsel the public on animal care and adoption inquiries
• Facilitate the adoption process and support foster initiatives
• Engage in animal care duties, including cleaning and enrichment
• Mentor volunteers and coordinate supplies for the foster program
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience in customer service
• Clerical experience preferred
• Must be able to lift and control large animals
