Under supervision of the Director of Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Cellular Therapy Program, the ONC Transplant Coordinator coordinates evaluation and preparation of patients for Hematopoietic Stem Cell (HSC) transplantation, cellular therapies and long-term management of patients post-treatment. Coordinates patient care across outpatient clinics, inpatient nursing unit and community to provide continuity of patient care across settings. Serves as a clinical resource for other team members, patients/family/caregivers, referring case managers and community clinicians. Demonstrates knowledge and competence regarding management and care of patients with oncologic and hematologic malignancies and other diseases treated with HSC transplantation and cellular therapies.
