Job DescriptionThe Onboarding and Engagement Partner provides local HR expertise to a District. This includes full cycle employee onboarding, retention and off-boarding. This individual also supports management with various HR functions as required.What you’ll do:Process new hire paperwork including capturing results for criminal background checks and vulnerable sector resultsCoordinate and conduct general onboarding for new hires on their first day of employmentAdminister payroll and benefit paperwork for new and existing employeesAbide by Human Resources policies according to union collective agreements, company policies and provincial and federal legislation including Employment Standards ActServe as the initial point of contact for all employee related inquiriesResearch, identify and analyze specific employee relations concerns under direction of managementProvide exit interviews and ensure employee is off-boardedSupport management in the presentation of in-services and general tra...
