Work with Jealous Fruits as a Cherry Farm Worker this season in the scenic Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. Engage in orchard maintenance and enjoy the process of nurturing premium cherries.
This seasonal full-time role demands commitment under the Orchard Manager or Supervisor's guidance. Responsibilities range from tree pruning and planting to installing irrigation systems, and during the harvest, you will focus on picking, sorting, and packing cherries with care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with pruning, thinning, and planting trees
• Prepare and irrigate soil effectively
• Pick cherries safely and efficiently
• Keep track of picker tags and counts
• Maintain farm equipment and tools
Requirements:
• Ability to lift heavy loads (min 25 lbs)
• Excellent detail orientation for quality
• Must be a reliable team player
• Open to learning during training
