Officer, Corporate Security Response
Job Description
Duties
- Act as the first responder to security alerts, alarms, emergencies, behavioural incidents, and potentially volatile situations across Town facilities
- Conduct proactive patrols and inspections of Town-owned and operated properties to deter criminal activity, unauthorized access, vandalism, and safety risks
- Investigate suspicious activities, manage incident scenes, issue warnings or Trespass Cautions, and liaise with emergency services and enforcement agencies as required
- Prepare detailed incident reports, support fire drills, lockdowns and evacuations, and oversee third‑party security providers to ensure service standards are met
- Support community events and facility operations by implementing effective security measures, providing customer service excellence, and performing emergency first aid services
