Join Providence Care Hospital as an Occupational Therapist in the Transitions Home Program. Engage in community work, providing crucial rehabilitative support to clients post-discharge in southeastern Ontario.
This full-time, temporary role focuses on delivering client-centered occupational therapy interventions that enhance functional outcomes. You will collaborate with program staff, caregivers, and community partners while implementing individualized treatment plans. Your expertise will also contribute to clinical education for allied health students and research efforts with Queen’s University.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize evidence-based practice to guide treatment decisions
• Assess client needs in self-care, productivity, and leisure
• Establish treatment goals with clients collaboratively
• Monitor and supervise treatment progress with support staff
• Ensure compliance with College of Occupational Therapists standards
