Job Description
Experience the veterinary field with an externship at NVA hospitals. Develop clinical skills in an inclusive atmosphere while working closely with seasoned veterinarians.
This externship provides a unique chance for veterinary students to engage in the day-to-day operations of a practice. Students will closely collaborate with supervising veterinarians to gather patient histories, perform assessments, and assist in treatment planning and surgeries. The time commitment varies, with externships lasting from two to eight weeks to accommodate student needs and hospital schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct physical exams and gather patient information
• Develop treatment plans in coordination with veterinarians
