Job Summary:The VON Nurse Practitioners practice autonomously at the full scope. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for the provision and management of cost-effective care to individuals and/or families in the led-clinic, virtually, and/or home setting. Care is provided within the framework of quality & risk management and the standards and scope of practice set by VON and the provincial regulatory body. NPs provide services to clients throughout the lifespan, the family, and the community, with a strong emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention.
