Nurse Clinician

Overview

The NICU Nurse Clinician will d evelop, coordinate and implement clinical education and training within the NICU in keeping with the family-centered care philosophy and support other inpatient and outpatient components of the program. Support the delivery of quality patient care and excellence in professional and clinical nursing practice. Act as a role model in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario Professional Standards and HSN’s Mission, Vision and Values in both formal and informal learning environments.

Standard Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSc(N) from an accredited university.

Required Qualifications

• Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support BCLS.
• Current certification in Paediatric Advanced Life Support PALS.
• Current certification in all of the required skills for NICU, including but not limited to:
