Job Overview
We’re looking for a Technical Artist who specializes in cross‑platform development with Unity's Universal Render Pipeline (URP) to help shape a new open‑world survival crafting IP set in a mysterious and hostile world. The role supports internal and outsourcing teams, ensuring artistic and design expectations are met while respecting performance constraints and production deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the art asset pipeline, catching broken imports and missing materials before they reach a build.
- Write and maintain DCC tools, enforce naming conventions, triangle budgets, UV layouts, etc.
- Author and update engine‑side import settings (models, texture compression, etc.).
- Run performance audits on new asset submissions (draw calls, triangle counts, texture memory, overdraw) and translate findings into actionable steps.
