This role contributes to MCC BC’s mission of sharing God’s love and compassion through relief, development, and peacebuilding by walking alongside newcomer families as they build stability, skills, and belonging in their new communities.
MCC BC’s New Foundations (NF) Program supports newcomers to Canada with dependents to fully and healthily participate in Canadian society through an eight-month, participant-centred program focused on financial capability, employment readiness, life skills, and social connection.
Reporting to the Program Coordinator and working as part of MCC BC’s Program team, the New Foundations Program Associate provides leadership for the delivery of the program in the Greater Victoria region, working closely with participants, volunteers, churches, community partners, and supporting staff, including the Program Assistant and Program Intern, to ensure effective program delivery.
