Network Engineer IV

Job Description

Job Purpose

Network Engineer will be responsible for network infrastructure discovery, design, implementation, and handoff to operations for network build projects. Also responsible for working and communicating with project managers on project status and timelines

Essential Functions

• 15% – Network Discovery
• 40% – Network Implementation and handover to Operational Support
• 30% – Update/Author Documentation of implemented solutions; ITIL related activities (change, incident, problem management, CMDB)
• 15% – Work with project managers for tasks/updates related to project activities

Experience

• 8 to 10 years of experience
• Design/implementation/troubleshooting/support of routers, switching, firewalls within a large or enterprise network environment

Education

• Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalen...
