Job Overview

Position: Staff Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Paul’s Hospital Pregnancy, Birthing and Newborn Centre, Providence Health Care.

Salary range: CAD $41.42 per hour – CAD $55.91 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients and residents to meet physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise the plan of care.
• Incorporate individual and/or group teaching into the care plan and nursing interventions and make referrals to other identified resources.
• Support other nurses and health care professionals by collegially sharing information and demonstrating procedures.
• Review patient and resident status through chart review, observation, and interviews with patients, families, and the health team.
