Job Description
Exciting opportunity as a Responsible Adult at Nakusp Early Learning Child Care Centre, focusing on nurturing school-age children. This on-call position provides essential care before and after school and during breaks.
You will work under the supervision of the Childcare Manager, delivering a comprehensive care program for SD10. Your main tasks include implementing suitable activities, guiding children’s social interactions, and fostering connections with families and school personnel. Keeping accurate records and ensuring safety standards are paramount to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement engaging care activities
• Encourage positive interactions among children
• Document attendance and activity plans accurately
• Report accidents/incidents immediately
• Follow safety and emergency protocols
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and Responsible Adult Course
• Must be at least 19 years old
• Valid First Aid certification required...
