Municipal Lawyer for City Departments

Deliver expert legal services as a Municipal Lawyer, providing advice and support to City Departments while ensuring compliance with municipal law. Engage in legal document preparation and negotiate on behalf of the Corporation.
This role involves working closely with Legal Services staff and various City Departments to deliver timely and competent legal counsel. Key responsibilities include drafting by-laws, reviewing contracts, and managing real estate transactions. You will also provide legal opinions, anticipate outcomes, and make sound recommendations based on legislative frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
