Municipal Law Enforcement Officer IV (Licensing & Enforcement)

POSITION SUMMARY : Under the general supervision of the Supervisor – Municipal Enforcement Services, carries out duties related to the application and enforcement of all Municipal by-laws, including parking, traffic, animal control, and all Provincial statutes applicable to municipalities, as directed. Daily focus on licensing and permit monitoring, complaint investigation and enforcement, including standards inspections for business licensing compliance and coordinating special enforcement projects, and acting as alternate court officer. Coaches and mentors new or advancing Officers to assist in skills development, and participates in the day-to-day operation of the Division.
