Molding and Tooling Process Engineer

POSITION PROFILE (Major duties, accountabilities, and responsibilities)
Manage the design, construction, development and implementation of injection molds and tooling required to support the development of new products and existing products.
Manage the design, construction, development and implementation into the manufacturing plant of secondary equipment such as sonic welders, heat stake machines, clip machines and end of arm tooling (etc.)
Manage the design, construction, development and buyoff of check fixture gauges
Update standard tooling specification(s) as required for use in all tool builds
Evaluate mold flow analysis and perform manufacturing feasibility studies and design reviews as necessary
Provide support and direction to tooling vendors and molding suppliers
Identify improvement opportunities for tooling and process
