Position: Mining Technology Support Advisor (Permanent)
Location: Edmonton, AB
Schedule: 12‑hour shifts on a 7‑x‑7 rotation (3 day; 1 night).
Overview
Finning Canada is looking for a mining technology support advisor to support and optimize our industry‑leading MineStar technology suite. This role focuses on mining technology systems, fleet management solutions, and operational technologies that directly impact performance in active mining environments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the go‑to technical expert for MineStar solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and operational technology issues
- Support remote deployments, upgrades, and integrations
- Deliver training to customers and internal teams
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction
- Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes
