Job Description
Your Opportunity Stantec is seeking a Discipline Manager to oversee our Mining Group within our Canadian mining delivery team. The focus of the position will be to engage our highly skilled team in the technical execution of various mining projects with diverse range of complexities.
Your Key Responsibilities
Coordinate team’s work and provide technical guidance on design approach and challenges.
Assign qualified individuals and teams to projects
Maintain appropriate staffing levels to suit backlog
Develop, maintain and implement a training program to support the professional development of team members
Recognize when technical problems develop and initiate guidance for corrective actions.
Mentor team to guide their career development objectives.
Conduct work in a safe manner and promote health and safety within the office and outside of the office while visiting clients and job sites.
