Mine Surveyor

The Opportunity:

Hudbay Minerals Inc. is seeking a Mine Surveyor at our Lalor Mine in Snow Lake, MB. This position is a 7/7 schedule and will report to the Chief Mine Engineer.

There is a camp available while on shift for those who wish to drive in and out to Snow Lake. Please note that this opportunity is NOT a fly-in-fly-out position.

Primary Function:

Surveys and takes measurements of development headings and stopes in order to update plans, direct miners for line and grade and gather information for bonus calculations.

Prerequisites:

• Preference will be given to a graduate of approved Technological or Engineering Program
• Minimum of five (5) years underground planning and surveying experience
• Must possess excellent communication skills, be computer literate and able to work with minimal direction
• Ability to drive underground
