Job Description

The R.W. Tomlinson Materials Group is looking for an individual to fill a Millwright/Welder position at the Bruce Mines Quarry location. The primary role of this position is to support the maintenance team through general labour, equipment upkeep, and plant organization.
Schedule: Day shift, Wednesday–Sunday, 50-65 hours per week, with the possibility of working evenings when required.

Job Location:Bruce Mines Quarry: 9630 Hwy 17, Bruce Mines ON.

Vacancy Type: Replacement
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operating a torch and stick welder.

Replacing plant components such as bearings, idlers, pulleys, belts, and sheaves.

Repairing or replacing guarding.

Repairing or building walkways and stairways.

Replaicing crusher and chute wear liners.

Aligning equipment and installing bearing using specalized tools such as lasers, micrometers, and calipers.
