The Kativik Regional Government (KRG), a supra municipal body with jurisdiction over the territory located north of the 55th parallel, is now looking for a self-motivated and dynamic individual interested in joining the KRG to work in the capacity of:
METAL RECYCLING OPERATOR
(Seasonal / Full-Time)
Under the supervision of the Metal Recycling Foreman of the Renewable Resources, Environment, Lands and Parks Department, the Metal Recycling Operator will have responsibility for, without being limited to, the following duties:
- Operation of a metal press for conducting the recycling of end-of-life vehicles and bulky metal accumulated in the Northern landfill and the communities;
- Operates other heavy and light equipment in a safe and effective manner;
- Performs minor maintenance and repairs to equipment;
