Become a key player at Mental Health Connecticut as a part-time Bilingual Residential Specialist II. Support individuals in recovery every weekend while implementing individualized approaches in a supportive environment.
This part-time role emphasizes bilingual skills in ASL and English while delivering recovery-focused services. You will engage clients with chronic mental health conditions, monitor their safety, and connect them to community resources. The role involves teaching life skills to assist individuals in managing their daily living effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage clients to ensure program participation
• Document and implement recovery plans with precision
• Provide training on daily living and safety skills
• Act as a liaison among clients and service agencies
• Keep thorough records of client behaviors and progress
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED essential
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience or applicable degree
