Medcan Family Physician Position
Job Description
Become a Family Physician with Medcan Health Management, located in York Mills, and contribute to comprehensive patient care. This part-time role focuses on both urgent care and preventive health strategies.
You will work within a collaborative team of over 100 physicians, committing to at least one day per week in this flexible position, which includes Saturday shifts. Key tasks involve thorough patient evaluations, diagnostic responsibilities, and providing follow-up care in coordination with specialists. You’ll also play a role in advancing Medcan's business initiatives through participation in education and research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver screening and primary care services to patients
• Diagnose and recommend treatments based on assessments
• Educate patients on health and lifestyle issues
• Prescribe medications and manage follow-ups
• Collaborate in Medcan’s innovative health projects
Requirements:
• Registration in good standing with CPSO
