RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an integral member of the Laboratory team the Medical Laboratory Technologist responsibilities include:
participating in technical, professional and quality in-services and education participating in staff and patient experience and feedback initiatives, professional development, teaching/ educational activities, safety and quality improvement programs to ensure excellence in the provision of services. reading and confirming reading and understanding laboratory policies and procedures through document control software forwarding suggestions for policy and procedure improvement or corrections required to the Charge or Team Leader. performing laboratory procedures for specific discipline(s) and functions and ensuring the completion of assigned workload. operating, troubleshooting and maintaining cleanliness of laboratory equipment and work area; preparing written and electronic reports required to documen...
