Mechanical Integration Mechanical Design Engineer (MIT MDE) Located in Saint-Bruno de Montarville QC, this full‑time role requires applying comprehensive mechanical engineering expertise to cutting‑edge rail solutions. The engineer will manage CAD activities, perform detailed 3D/2D designs, create assembly drawings and BOMs, and ensure the seamless integration of mechanical subsystems.
Responsibilities
Manage CAD activities and maintain the Space Allocation Mock‑up (SAM) according to maturity rules.
Create annotated SAMs for supplier exchanges and verify supplier feedback compliance.
Perform detailed 3D and 2D design of in‑house parts while considering manufacturability and maintainability.
Generate assembly drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) for industrialisation.
Contribute to weight data provision and stack‑up calculations.
Collaborate with domain peers and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
