Job Description
Sedgman is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Materials Handling) to join our growing team in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will have experience working on the design, analysis and optimization of ore handling systems in mining/heavy industrial projects, including storage, crushing, screening, conveying, stockpiling and reclaiming. Work includes conceptual design and studies through to detailed design. The engineer develops solutions to ore handling requirements, creates detailed mechanical drawings and layouts, and ensures compliance with safety standards, bridging the gap between machinery design and efficient, safe operational workflows.

- Design, implement and deliver mechanical material handling solutions for mining/industrial facilities across multiple sustaining capital projects.
