Mechanical Engineer II (Plant Support)

Mechanical Resident Engineer in the plant, responsible for assigned projects, design-related problem‑solving activities, risk assessments, and resolution of plant-related mechanical issues.

Lead and support improvement projects as an extended resource to the VSO (Value Stream Organization), focusing on key performance metrics including scrap reduction, downtime minimization, FOR (fall‑out‑rate) improvement, IDC (internal defect cost) reduction, and optimization of line utilization.

Provide technical support and assistance on plant and supplier‑related issues, including evaluation and sourcing of mechanical components from local suppliers, resolution of supplier delivery challenges, and assessment of tooling replacement requirements. Offer technical guidance and expertise on commodity‑related issues such as plastics, die‑cast, machined components, etc.
