Marine Service Technician – Santos

Mackay Marine Brazil currently has an opening in our Santos location for a Marine Service Technician with experience, skills, and qualifications below. Mackay is headquartered in the USA, proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English is required.

Under limited supervision, Marine Service Technicians (MST) install, service, and repair marine electronic equipment on‑board commercial and naval ships, yachts, and pleasure craft. MSTs test, adjust, and troubleshoot components, PCBs, sub‑assemblies, and antennas as well as load, update, and modify software. Marine Service Technicians utilize their knowledge of electronic theory and circuitry to address a variety of technical problems as well as to make intelligent use of complex schematics, blueprints, and manuals to accurately achieve assignments. Upon completion of each job, the technician will compose and remit a detailed service report.
