Job Description
The Purchase Manager, reporting to the Vice President of Operations, is responsible for managing procurement activities in both the automotive aftermarket and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts sectors. This role ensures the efficient sourcing of parts and services, balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements to support the company’s operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for the automotive aftermarket and OEM parts sectors.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations to align procurement practices with organizational goals.
- Identify, evaluate, andestablishrelationships with suppliers specializing in automotive aftermarket and OEM parts.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieveoptimalterms for both sectors.
- Monitor market trends in the automotive industry toanticipatechanges in supply and pricing. ...
