DUTIES

This newly established strategic position within Memorial University's Pension Services Office will play a key role in leading the financial accounting activities for the University's pension plan. This leadership position provides comprehensive oversight of financial accounting and administrative operations supporting the University's 2.4 billion-dollar defined benefit pension plan. Reporting to the Director, Pension Services, the Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting for the pension plan, including the preparation of annual audited financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
