Overview

The role is to lead the front‑end technology and product development for Wärtsilä's engine testing activities, focusing on future engines and decarbonization objectives.

Responsibilities

• Take care of the superior tasks and responsibilities including strong safety focus
• Plan and manage the technology- and product-development focused SCE testing activities and lead the people
• Maintain and develop the team's know‑how, competence and way of working
• Develop and implement the operational-level action plan
• Report the progress and task status of the activities
• Ensure the quality of operation, results and technical documentation
• Provide technical support to other Wärtsilä organizations and proactively work to enable cross-organizational cooperation
