Manager Cancer Screening
Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Public Health Officer, the Manager Cancer Screening Program is responsible for developing and monitoring the implementation of strategies, initiatives and programs. With the guidance of the Clinical Lead, the Manager will apply expertise in project management, cancer screening protocols, health systems development, cancer control, health and wellness promotion, and chronic disease prevention to develop a culturally sensitive, clinically sound cancer screening program that incorporates Inuit societal values into the overall goal to improve health and cancer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Designing, planning, coordination and implementation of this program.
- Preparing and disseminating information on program outputs and outcome measures, quality and performance metrics, and research of evidence‑based practice.
- Effective reporting, monitoring and evaluation of the cancer screening program.
