Maintenance Mechanic

PRODUCTION MAINTENANCE MECHANIC – CANADA (AFTERNOON SHIFT)

We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated individual to join our Cambridge production facility as a Maintenance Mechanic. This full‑time hourly position supports the manufacture of Kwik Lok closures and focuses on continual improvement of quality, food safety and manufacturing processes. Reports directly to the Production Manager and Plant Manager.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with all production departments (extrusion, slitting, manufacturing line, food safety team) to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and repair, incorporating technological advancements as needed.
• Set up production machines to manufacture the correct Lok/label series and opening size per job order specification and production schedule; run product samples and confirm proper setup of tooling; inspect for correct pitch, gauge, Lok series, color, opening size and defect‑free ...
