Maintenance Assistant

Duties Description This position involves maintenance and rehabilitation on infrastructure, including buildings, campgrounds, and recreation facilities, along with bridges, dams, access roads, trails, boundary lines, wildlife management areas, and flood control projects.

Must have working knowledge of safety standards and procedures. Must have the ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor and lift up to 80 pounds. Also, must have the ability to climb a ladder and work on heights on scaffolds and platforms. Will need the ability to operate heavy equipment, large tractors , mowers, and the ability to transport heavy equipment and haul gravel. Must have or obtain an Unrestricted Class B license within 1 year.

Minimum Qualifications Two years of full-time experience in maintenance or mechanical work
under the supervision of a skilled tradesperson; OR completion of an appropriate two-
year technical school course at a school, institute, or branch ...
