Job Description

LUNCHROOM SUPERVISOR
Lunchroom Supervisors work under the direction of the Principal of the school to which they have been appointed. Lunchroom Supervisors shall be responsible for supervising students who remain on the school grounds over the lunch hour recess. The Principal shall determine the time period during which the lunchroom supervisor will be employed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students in various classroom settings to provide lunch break supervision on a daily or supply basis.
- Supervise the setting‑up and removal of lunchroom equipment.
- Supervise the disposal of lunch refuse in suitable containers and maintain general cleanliness of the lunchroom areas.
- Address discipline problems in a manner prescribed by the Principal and report significant disciplinary actions to the Principal or his/her designate.
