LOSS PREVENTION SPECIALIST SUPERVISOR FULL TIME (HALIFAX)

Position Overview

The Asset Protection Specialist Supervisor (APSS) is responsible for preventing financial loss caused by property vandalism, traditional theft and fraud, organized retail crime, and connected retail fraud. They assist the District Asset Protection Manager (DAPM) with internal investigations, AP walks, and CIT investigations of high‑level organized crime. The APSS focuses on AP and district business objectives and keeps store leadership and district team informed of criminal activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze district shrink performance to identify trends in traditional theft and fraud, organized retail crime, and connected fraud.
• Monitor associate behaviors and operational issues through exception‑based reporting and CCTV that may cause shrink or profit erosion. Execute AP rollouts within district (camera installs, merchandise protection updates, etc.).
• Perform quarterly store walks.
