Job Description
About the Opportunity
- Independently manage end-to-end shipments across multiple modes including ocean, intermodal rail, trucking, and air freight
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, trucking companies, rail providers, cold storage facilities, and customers to ensure smooth execution
- Act as the primary owner of assigned shipments, ensuring timely delivery and full visibility across the supply chain
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively identify risks (delays, port congestion, rail issues, trucking shortages, documentation gaps, customs hold)
- Resolve logistics issues with minimal supervision, including rerouting, mode switching, and cost mitigation strategies
- Prepare and review all shipping and export/import documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations
