In this crucial role, you will oversee logistics for the peas and protein plant, collaborating with the Assistant Manager, Traders, and Operations teams. Your focus will be on developing key performance indicators (KPIs), managing shipments, and ensuring the accuracy of commercial contracts. You will engage with various departments, monitoring inbound loads and facilitating optimum blending strategies.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead logistics planning for peas, protein plant, and lentils • Analyze freight trends and secure bookings for shipments • Create and maintain commercial sales and purchase contracts • Ensure accurate financial reporting in coordination with accounting • Participate in cross-training and process improvement initiatives
