Job Description

Reporting to the Transport Manager, the person holding the position collaborates with the various players in the supply chain to coordinate transport movements and ensure a high level of customer service.
THE ROLE
- Coordinate and offer shipments with road and intermodal carriers using the TMS in place;
- Track loads in transit to ensure on-time deliveries;
- Optimize route planning to maximize efficiency (weight and/or cube per trailer);
- Suggest ways to optimize operations to support performance;
- Inform customer service, the supply chain and/or the various factories/warehouses/suppliers of any anomalies or delays;
- Support carriers with daily operations (deliveries to customers, etc...);
- Approval and processing of certain freight invoices via TMS.
