South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, Ontario, seeks Hospitalist Locums to support a new acute care line launching April 1, 2025. Manage a patient census of 15-22 during your shifts.
As a Hospitalist Locum at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, you’ll play an essential role in the successful launch of our acute care services. You have the flexibility to choose one week or multiple week-long shifts, benefiting from shared coverage for seamless patient care. Collaborate with a team of local physicians and specialists while ensuring top-quality treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee care for 15-22 inpatient cases daily
• Share patient coverage with a colleague Hospitalist
• Respond to evening calls and support OR Assist
• Coordinate care with local specialists and consultants
• Leverage on-site services for comprehensive patient support
Requirements:
• Current medical license in Ontario
• Acute care experience preferred
