Locum Consultant Anaesthetist (LW)

CONSULTANT ANAESTHETIST – FIXED TERM 6 Months

Applications are welcome for the above fixed term post based at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.

We are looking to appoint a Consultant Anaesthetist to complement a department of over 40 people in a busy District General Hospital.

We provide anaesthesia for a wide range of specialty surgery, including:

• Robotics
• General Surgery
• Breast
• ENT
• Maxillofacial
• Obstetrics
• Gynaecology (general and oncology)
• Trauma and Orthopaedics
• Ophthalmology
• Paediatrics

Day surgery is performed at a stand‑alone unit in Dunfermline, and we also provide support to an on‑site National Treatment Centre for elective Orthopaedic work.

The successful candidate will have a medical post‑graduate qualification (e.g., FRCA, MRCP, FFICM).
