Involves coordinating traffic flows at stations, hubs, and cross dock locations.
**General job description**- Interacts daily with Couriers/Sales/Customer Service to coordinate load volumes for domestic services.
- Monitors loading and unloading of trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Formulates alternate plans as needed to include additional trucks- Coordinates any delays, overflows, cancellations, and re-routes, to ensure on time arrivals and departures.
- Leads and provides support to cargo handling employees.
- Coordinates and monitors split and routing of freight through interline (passenger airlines), and feeders; to ensure on time arrival of cargo to final destination.
- Completes and maintains updated records of all related paperwork.
- Generates reports regarding levels on operational service metrics (OSM).
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
