Job Description
Lead livestock operations as a Farm Supervisor for New Beginnings Farm Ltd. This permanent, full-time role offers hands-on work in hog and pig farming within a rural setting.
In this vital role, you will diagnose and treat livestock health issues, oversee feed inventory, and ensure proper safety procedures are followed. The Farm Supervisor will also coordinate the activities of farm workers, maintain health records, and implement breeding programs to enhance farm productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain animal health
• Direct farm feed inventory and management
• Organize and oversee farm tasks and workers
• Carry out livestock health treatments as needed
• Operate farm equipment while ensuring safety
Requirements:
• Experience in hog farming (7 months to 1 year)
• Completion of secondary school education
• On-site work required
• Must be comfortable in a dusty environment
• Must have Canadian residency authorization
