Our client is currently seeking an experienced Unix / Linux Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer operating systems and their corresponding or associated software. AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Linux.
• Apply required O/S patches, firmware upgrades and configuration changes
• Participate in the problem identification/resolution and root cause analysis process for Unix Infrastructure
• Manage communications and connections including VPN and VLAN.
• Manage and ensure the integrity of host computers.
• Verify firewall configurations and rule sets.
• Distribute and monitor server storage space allotments.
• Analyze system network and application usage and plan for growth.
• Assist with the maintenance and connectivity of all workstations.
