Job Description
Become the Team Lead for Corporate Accounting at Lightspeed in Montreal. This pivotal role requires a blend of strong accounting expertise with leadership and a focus on enhancing efficiency through technology.
You will be integral to the Finance team, overseeing a talented group of Corporate Accountants. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will facilitate month-end closings while innovating the accounting processes through effective team management and strategic project leadership. Your CPA mindset will be essential as you drive compliance and efficiency in an evolving tech landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage month-end and quarterly close processes
• Direct team development, including performance feedback and support
• Coordinate annual audits with local and consolidated audit teams
• Lead initiatives for process improvements and technology integration
• Work alongside FP&A on forecasts and variance analyses
