The Town of Blackfalds is recruiting enthusiastic, safety‑focused, and customer‑service–driven Seasonal Lifeguards and Swim Instructors to join our team at the Abbey Centre Outdoor Pool. If you enjoy working outdoors, value teamwork, and are passionate about aquatic safety and instruction, we want to hear from you!

As part of our Aquatics team, you will play a vital role in creating a positive, fun, and safe aquatic experience for all guests. Seasonal Lifeguards and Swim Instructors are responsible for:

Lifeguarding Duties
Monitoring and ensuring the safety of all patrons in and around the aquatic facility.

Providing first aid and responding to emergencies when required. 

Enforcing and educating the public on aquatic policies and procedures. 

Assisting with rotations, hazard removal, and safety evaluations.
